The True T-24-GC-S-HC one-section glass chiller features a stainless steel exterior and a galvanized steel interior, providing resistance against corrosion and dents. Inside, three PVC-coated wire shelves support mugs, capable of holding either (85) 10-ounce steins or (90) 8-inch mugs. The electronically commutated condenser and evaporator fan motors ensure consistent air distribution, reduce energy consumption, and minimize heat production.
The glass chiller utilizes a self-contained capillary tube system to control the flow of R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, maintaining a temperature of 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Maintenance is simplified with a sliding condensing unit that allows easy access. An automatic defrost cycle, initiated at a set time and terminated at a specific temperature, contributes to the prevention of ice buildup.
The condensing fan motor incorporates a reverse fan mode, activating for 20 seconds every time the motor starts up to remove excess dust and debris from the coil. This self-cleaning feature enhances the efficiency of the refrigeration system, ensuring consistent temperatures and reducing energy consumption. While the reverse fan mode offers benefits in terms of system lifespan, routine preventative maintenance is still essential to mitigate potential issues and ensure long-term reliability.
