If you have a self-serve counter with a sneeze guard and overhead lighting, or a prep table where hot food is plated, the 6-3/8 inch deep stainless steel electric drop-in Halo Heat Hot Food Well Unit will work in your venue. It’s a substantial well, accommodating three 12 inch x 20 inch full size pans and three 12 inch x 6 inch one-third size pans, with two full size divider bars and six half or third size divider bars provided. The pans themselves aren’t provided. It’s thermostatically controlled, with a setting range from 1 to 10 and a heat indicator light. The control is bound to the well by a flexible water-tight 36 inch tether, and can be flush-mounted to the counter. Since no water is added to the well, a drain isn’t required. Steam burns and the build up of lime and scale deposits are also stanched.
