The Star 848T Ultra-Max Heavy-Duty Gas Griddle is ideal for cafes, diners, and other restaurants that churn out high volumes of pancakes, bacon, eggs, and more. This griddle has a 48″ deep cooking surface that makes it suitable for commercial use, and it includes four (4) customized steel burners that use 120,000 BTU per hour for uninterrupted performance. The griddle has a standing pilot for quick ignition and consistency, and every burner is controlled by gas controls to cook different dishes simultaneously. Its throttling thermostat maintains temperatures between 150°F and 450°F with an accuracy of +/-20°F, and its 1″ thick griddle plate ensures energy efficiency and quick temperature recovery. An internal plate sensor measures the griddle’s temperature and sets it according to the user’s need.
