When you’re in a busy restaurant kitchen, anything that keeps your ingredients near your work area is a good thing. It saves steps and time. This Sandwich Prep Table is made of stainless steel, has a 4.2 cubic foot capacity, and keeps your materials close at hand in 2 sliding drawers, so that rather than steering your way past other busy people in your kitchen every time you make a sandwich, you remain in one spot until the sandwich is made. It’s insulated by 2.5 inch of polyurethane foam. The refrigeration is self-contained and back-mounted. You can easily remove the condenser for cleaning. This is a front-breathing unit, so it can be built in to counters. The refrigerant used is R-134A. There’s an electrically timed air defrost feature. With recessed handles and rounded corners, the drawers look sleek and modern. They also have frame heaters to prevent condensation. Low friction bearing slides make opening and closing easier. Four 1/2 size pans, or multiple other combinations of pan sizes, will fit in each drawer, but the drawer pans aren’t included with the table. The prep area is insulated as well, with 1/2 inch of polyurethane foam. A 12 inch wide sanitary cutting board which is 1/4″Deep comes with the table. It can be removed and adjusted. Eight 1/6 size sanitary PVC pans will fit in the prep area, under the hinged lid. The temperature range for the unit is 33 to 41F, and is controlled by an analog thermostat. The table is placed on 4 casters. The two in the front have locking brakes.
