Maintaining temperatures between 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, the True TBB-4-S-HC utilizes R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, known for its eco-friendly properties. The refrigeration system, accessible via a slide-out design behind the front grille, features electronically commutated fan motors, contributing to energy savings and reduced heat production.
Upon compressor activation, the condensing fan motor operates in reverse for 20 seconds, effectively clearing dirt and dust buildup from the condensing coil. A cleaner condensing coil not only operates more efficiently, saving energy but also extends the unit’s overall lifespan.
