Description
The True TD-50-18-HC forced-air bottle cooler offers a substantial capacity, accommodating 16.5 cases of 12-ounce bottles or 24 cases of 12-ounce cans. Internally, three PVC-coated dividers efficiently separate and organize drinks, ensuring quick serve times. The forced-air cooling design prioritizes the top bottles, ensuring customers receive cold drinks promptly. Operating within a temperature range of 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, the unit is powered by R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant in a self-contained capillary tube system.
The refrigeration system is conveniently accessible, sliding out from behind the front grille. An automatic reversing fan motor is a notable feature, directing airflow in reverse for the initial 20 seconds upon startup. This proactive measure keeps the condensing coil free from dirt and debris, ensuring proper temperature maintenance and reducing energy consumption. When coupled with routine preventative maintenance, this feature significantly extends the unit’s lifespan in a commercial environment.
The exterior, crafted from black powder-coated, cold-rolled steel on the front, sides, and back, is designed to withstand regular use without chipping or peeling. The stainless steel countertop and lids are resilient for long-term durability. Two sliding lids provide access to the interior, where foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation retains cold air. The galvanized steel interior is easily wiped clean, and the black frame rail adds structural support to the True TD-50-18-HC forced-air bottle cooler.
